Bunny Profile - Fozzie

Fozzie is a cute little chocolate coloured Netherland Dwarf. He is one of 10 rabbits that came to New Moon Rabbit Rescue on 27 June 2011 as part of a massive SPCA seizure of 200+ rabbits in the Manitoulin Island area.

Fozzie, as well as the other nine rabbits from the seizure were all treated for Pasteurella and other respiratory issues due to their pasteurella infections as well as several other health issues. Fozzie responded very quickly to his treatment and made an excellent recovery.  Fozzie also had a small abscess removed at the time of his neuter and is due for a recheck with his Doctor to make sure everything is doing well.

Fozzie is available for adoption.

Fozzie is a wonderful little man. He is curious and friendly and is looking for a forever home so he can continue with his new and wonderful life.

A few months ago Fozzie was one of several bunnies that had the pleasure of taking a trip in to the city to tape a segment for a local morning show.  He was a joy to be around and was the calmest and most well behaved bunny that has ever been in this situation.  He played constantly and was saying hello to anyone he could meet.  Fozzie is going to make someone very happy!

He is doing well with his litter training and like most buns enjoys stretching out and having a nap in his litter box. He likes to investigate far and wide and absolutely loves his run time.  He never wants it to end. 

Fozzie has grown to be healthy and happy and transformed into a beautiful loving little boy.  He is a far cry from the sad and sick bunny that arrived months ago.  The terrible sun bleaching in his coat has finally grown out and he has left his past behind.
