Radar is
a cute little agouti Netherland Dwarf. He is one of 10 rabbits that came to New
Moon Rabbit Rescue on 27 June 2011 as part of a massive SPCA seizure of 200+
rabbits in the Manitoulin Island area.
Radar, as
well as the other nine rabbits from the seizure were all treated for Pasteurella and other
respiratory issues due to their pasteurella infections as well as several other
health issues. Radar responded
very quickly to his treatment and made a excellent recovery.
Radar
is currently available for adoption.
Radar
is a very sweet and happy bunny.
He is social and enjoys the quiet and calm company of others. Radar likes to play “hide and seek” and
has made squeezing in to small spaces an art. He is not terribly interested in toys and would rather run
around hopping and binkying. He is
not a big chewer but does tend to enjoy a good nibble when he has found a good
place to hide. Radar might very
much like some cardboard tunnels and playhouses to keep him busy.
Radar
loves his freedom and chance at a real life. He is enjoying his foster family and lets them know by
giving lots of kisses. He is doing
well with the cats and may be interested in someday having a bunny friend to
play with. Radar is doing very
well with his litter training and does not have any accidents outside his cage.
